Terms of Service
1. Who we are
dhurm.net (the "Site") is published by Dhurm Inc., a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada ("Dhurm," "we," "us"). Dhurm publishes books written under the author name Dhurm. You can reach us at info@dhurm.net.
2. Using this Site
By visiting the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. The Site is an information and publishing site: it presents our books, excerpts, articles, and news, and offers an optional newsletter. It is intended for visitors aged 16 and over.
3. Our content
All text, excerpts, images, the Dhurm name and logo, and other material on the Site are © Dhurm Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law worldwide. You may read the Site and share links to it. You may quote short passages for review, commentary, or study with attribution. You may not copy, republish, sell, translate, or distribute Site content or book excerpts beyond that without our written permission. Requests for permissions, rights, or translations: info@dhurm.net.
4. Buying our books
Books are sold through third-party retailers (for example Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play, Barnes & Noble, and bookstores). When you follow a link to a retailer, your purchase is governed by that retailer's terms and privacy policy, not ours. Prices and availability are set per retailer and market and may change.
5. Companion App
The reader companion app at app.dhurm.net is a separate service for readers of our books and has its own Terms (app.dhurm.net/terms) and Privacy Policy (app.dhurm.net/privacy), which apply when you use it.
6. Newsletter and email
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will email you about once a month. We send it only with your consent, every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We never sell or share your email address.
7. Not professional advice
Our books and this Site discuss spirituality, meditation, and self-inquiry. They are offered for reflection and education only and are not medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. Please consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation, and seek immediate help if you are in distress.
8. Links to other sites
The Site links to retailers, platforms, and other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the Site and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version and its date are always shown here. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without displacing any mandatory consumer-protection law of the jurisdiction where you live. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ontario, except where your local law gives you the right to bring a claim at home.

Privacy Policy
What this policy covers
This policy explains what Dhurm Inc. collects when you visit dhurm.net, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors everywhere; we hold ourselves to the same standard for everyone, including the requirements of Canada's PIPEDA, the EU and UK GDPR, and similar laws. The companion app at app.dhurm.net has its own privacy policy.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address (and name, if you provide it), with the date and source of your consent. If you email us or use a contact form: your name, email, and whatever you write to us.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the Site running. These are retained briefly and not used to profile you.
Cookies. This Site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add basic visitor analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first.
How we use it
To send the newsletter you asked for, to reply when you contact us, to keep the Site secure, and to comply with the law. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run the Site and send email (our web host and our email delivery provider), each bound to use your information solely to provide their service to us. Retailers you buy from are independent and governed by their own policies. We disclose information otherwise only if the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Our providers may store data on servers outside your country, including in Canada and the United States. Wherever it is processed, we apply the protections in this policy.
How long we keep it
Newsletter details for as long as you stay subscribed, then removed from our mailing list. Correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs briefly, as set by our host.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. Wherever you live, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email info@dhurm.net and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority; in Canada, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here with a new "last updated" date, and notify newsletter subscribers of material changes by email.
